Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using a forklift or other equipment as necessary
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Verify the contents of each shipment against delivery documents
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any mechanical issues
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift and other relevant equipment safely and effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying of heavy items
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and order fulfillment
